Doing my CT Duties…

..and enabling you all! LOL :P First off, Katie the Scrapook Lady's Amazing Month of Memories at ACOT. I absolutely love Katie's roundups and prompts each month. She recently released the full year version and what Im going to do to is print them all and have them ring binded so I can refer to it each time! She has compiled a list of events each month and I will have it - each month - compiled at the front of the binder book. She also does the Monthly Round Up prompts on her blog, and I strongly encourage you to do the same. I have started a year-long challenge over the Bebot's forum to make a monthly LO using the monthly round up Qs as prompts so we can have a 2007 Memories Book by the end of the year similar to what Katie Pertiet did with her 2006 Memories Book. Next off, can I just tell you to check the LILY PAD and buy all the stuff that is out?! LOL. Seriously, so many awesome new items each week, I have barely sat down to make a layout worthy of the new items, I get a link to download newer ones! LOL. Im saying this again, I cannot believe how lucky I am to be representing ALL of Lily Pad's designers -- yep, I just got on to Audrey Neal's team! :D She hasnt made the formal announcement yet, so Ill just toot in my own little blog (Nobody reads from the scrapping world anyway except for the Bebots, hehehe). Check out Amy Martin's Beaded Felt Hearts! And Amy Wolff's newest kit, Favorite Handbag, gorgeous color combination! Tiffany Blue and Brown - how can you go wrong? I even managed to make a layout out of it in time of its release! LOL. LO172 Baby Diva in Training And Natalie Braxton, has, once again, managed to come out with something utterly unique and amazing!!! Her Heartstrings and Stiched Blooms. And just ending with a very fun layout I made a couple of days ago, which is totally not me, but I am loving it just the same. The photo has been sitting on my "TO BE SCRAPPED" folder for a long time and I was holding on to the perfect shade of yellow and fun elements to scrap it. It all just came easily and I was done in 2 hours. LO171 Our Little Sunshine Credits here. You can click on the image to view it larger as well. That's it for now. A couple of digi related reminders :) 1. Check out GMD (www.ginamillerdesigns.com) on the 31st. Lots of new items in store..and on sale (Boy am I glad that I won a GC!) 2. Be sure, MAKE SURE, you check out SSD's (www.sweetshoppedesigns.com) brand new homepage, community, gallery and suprise announcements on Feb 1st! Biggest sale ever and exciting news guaranteed! 3. DD (www.designerdigitals.com) is having its quarterly 25% sale on Feb 10. Need.to.plan. LOL Have a great day! Will be back with Katie's monthly round up Qs!

Edil prefers the Ericsson.

While I am in love with the Motorola Razr, Edil likes and drools over Sony Ericsson mobile phones. He loves mobile phones which are hardcore geek - uhmm - techie stuff, :P, so he always wants the latest versions which have enhanced technology already. So we were just browsing the web site over for Sony Ericsson phones, and he wanted the W300i, or the other phone which I do not remember anymore. Im just a very aesthetic person when it comes to mobile phones. As long as it can send SMS and I can call, and I can write LONG messages, and it looks nice, Im all for it :D I remember my cousin who does not go for Nokia phones ever. She says the money she invests on the latest models are like throwing water down the drain and the latest version quickly gets outdated with newer releases. She prefers the Sony Ericsson series as they are classic, as she says. Oh well, to each his own :D

I want a RAZR!

A pink one, please! Ever since I saw my cousin who came for a visit during Christmas had one, I was totally in love! It was slim, which was fashionable and look very elegant and sleek to me, and it came in my favorite color! WOW! My parents are actually staying in the States for about 6 months to continue my Dad's treatment, and I was half joking maybe they can avail of the Verizon cell phones that offer free phones with line subscriptions that can renewed monthly. And Mom can get me the Pink Razr, she will use it in the meantime of course :). They ever offer rebates and cash on this Magenta Razr phone! They actually told me they are availing of the prepaid plans they offer, so I was hoping beyond hope that my Mom is still groovy and that one of my uncles would give it to her as a gift, but no luck! She was gifted in cash! :D Maybe I can still egg them to maybe get one for me, there is still around three months to go :D

Meet up with Jacq!

My weekend recap, that is, since I am off on weekdays, Thursdays and Fridays, so technically, my weekend is done already :). My rest days were spent meeting up with old and new friends. Thursday I met up with a high school friend whom I was really close to, and havent been in touch with for the past ten years. He ended up staying at the house and hanging out with Edil and Matthew playing Pokeman (he is still such a nerd/geek after all these years, LOL). He is working really well now, and his earnings are really over the roof, meaning he has become filthy rich. But there are things money can't buy - and that is all I am going to say about that. Thursday was spent meeting an online friend I have known close to two years now - Jacq (aka purplecolourz), and as expected, we talked in real life as if we have been talking ever since - since we share a lot of interests, we are both mommies to cutie babies (:P), we are digiscrapping addicts, we are pumping mommies and generally, we are really wives to our husbands. Married life can do that to you, and since I am the only married girl in my close knit barakada of four (technically, we are two already but we havent met in a year) - it is refreshing to meet up with someone to discuss things that are so "you" right now. Thanks again, Jacq, for the book and the toy for Martha-ba! On the way home, I innocently looked around a local scrapbook store, and I walked away with the latest Creating Keepsakes Mag and a Bo Bunny Bare Naked Binder Album. Ugh!!! The start of an addicting hobby! I was about to buy those big flowers and cute ribbons and glue dots and tape and an archival pen when I stopped myself and said I will just get them when I finish the contents of the album I am making - which I plan to finish anyways. I love the magazine! It is good to know they carry local subscriptions already -- I hope they get the Digital Scrapbooking Mag as well....when there is left over money I will try to subscribe to BHG Scrapbooks Etc (still my fave). What else? Scrap-wise, I have been doing pretty well - until I was forced to literally back up my files because I just finished downloading a TON of goodies from the Lily Pad. I am so excited to be given this oppurtunity and Im just bursting with creative ideas in my head. That being said, since I design for Amy Wolff and Natalie Braxton (and in a way, Amy Martin too), I need to focus to keep turning out quality LOs for them. I feel intimidated, really, but they are so sweet to believe in my work and tell me (and the whole CT) to just create what inspires us :). So what I am doing is I am busy listing down all requirements and writing down STUFF I want to create a layout about -- I would not want to be sidetracked on what I want to create. And I have a full chockful of folder for Lily Pad Stuff, it is amazing! I hope my creative spell doesn't dry up soon. I feel there will be more oppurtunities to come.

My Sanctuary.

In my dream home, I would totally invest in a luxurious bathroom. I would like to have an all-white bathroom, with sleek bathroom furniture. I'd love to traditional taps for faucets though. I would like to have big luxurious bath tub!!! And my dresser should be there as well. I'd love to have a big space for me to walk around (naked), really! The big white tub would be a dream come true!! I can actually browse in www.Taps4Less.com all day to plan what will go into my dream luxurious bathroom! I am actually drooling over their Modern Bathroom Suites. Edil and I have long since planned our own dream house and we have instantly agree on what type of bathroom will work for us!

I can get used to this!

I am one lucky duck when it comes to scrapping lately. I have more time to make layouts, my mind is bursting with creativity, I'm doing great controlling my digital purchases and I'm on a creative team of a very awesome designer. Then I got lucky again. Natalie Braxton, whose products sell at the Lily Pad, offered a spot for me on her team! :) How awesome is that? It all started with exhanging e-mails because of a misordered product on their store, and whaddayaknow? I got super lucky! Tali has been, and is actually, my absolute fave digiscrapper of all time. I still remember pouring over her 2Peas gallery everyday when I first started and could not help myself - I sent her a gushing PeaMail saying Im such a huge fan of her work because of her "creative chaos" style while still leaving so much room for really sweet and touching journalling. I always look forward to seeing her layouts to get me inspired and while I am still struggling with all the freestyle thing going on, I am definitely happy with how things are going on with my layouts - good pictures, nice story, great colors :). So I told her I missed seeing her layouts already since she started designing and it really came from the heart :). Three days later, WHABAM!!! Im one lucky duck! You can see her products here and you can see why! Im off tomorrow so I can play with her products! There are three kits waiting for me from Amy Wolff, so my layouts would be Lily Pad goodies, just you wait :) Laters!

Crafty Update: For Valentines.

If you are like me who is so into crafts, you might want to check out Lifetime Moment's 14 days of Valentine's Gifts. Makes me wish I was a hybrid (scrapper). If only scrap supplies dont cost an arm and leg here in Pinas and I dont have a baby who crawls 1000m a minute, LOL.

Coke-a-Holic.

It pays at times. We drink about 5 pieces of 1.5L Coke per day. So we are so happy Coke decided to "reward" us. We won P10,000.oo :) So we did grocery shopping yesterday. Yep, we also bought Coke! ;)

An Idea.

I now know what to do with this. Im actually trying to be more conscious and photograph my everyday life - the moments, not just my kids :P. So I will post a picture a day and the story behind it! Sounds like a great one, eh? Ill be back with my first post :)

My Wawa.

Her name was Marina. She was the strongest woman I have known second to my Mom. She sent my mom to the best schools balancing odd jobs with the money my Wawo earned being a manager from a travel agency. She struggled with in-laws. She struggled with Alzheimer's at 53 for almost 20 years. It was painful to see her wasting away when you knew her strong personality. But it was in God's plan. If I can only be as good a Mom as she was, my kids will do great. My mom was.

What Shall I Do with this?!

Im currently actively blogging at my own domain blog. But I jsut cant leave this blog. What shall I do with this? Maybe I can just post away random thought about my day? So here we go: Random Thought No.1: A Day in the Life. My laundry is already 4 baskets. My son had no PE uniform to wear to school today. We still have no lunch cooked. The house, in every nook and corner is a mess. But the kids are clean, fed and OK.. That is enough.

GOAL for 2-0-0-7!

This will be an ongoing battle for me this year. This early, Im facing tough calls and sooner or later I need to decide. The problem with me is I want it ALL. I need to seek to balance and know what is IMPORTANT. Year after year, I set as many goals as I can for myself, optimistic that I can do them and determined I make them. It is not for lack of trying though. Goal-oriented as I am, sometimes I take too much on my plate and I get overhwlemed by it all. Add to it my perfectionist attitude and I will hardly get anything done. I realized that the key to that is balance. Priority. I need to make that goal, and everything else will follow. Sharing Work Faster Online.

How cool is this?! Do you know how much I organize schtuff from Excel at home? Now I can do them anywhere! Love you GOOGLE!!!!

Posted from WP.

From our post here: (I get 10 unique hits per day on this entry, mainly because I think may brides are googling PINK and BROWN lately LOL). One advice: Join W@W :) Another advice :) - - Look for Mimi and Karl :)

It's actually flattering. I have had over 200-250 hits everyday for the last couple of months. And you know which posts were most viewed? My wedding preps posts. The google search words were related to my wedding (Dangwa, Alex Franco cakes, wedding preps, Caleruega, Sonya's, PINK AND BROWN - do you know how many searched for it? 89!!!), and yes, Ive got to thank Mimi and Karl for referring many visitors too. (They've got a new site, check it out!). And, of course, w@w. 17 months later and the happiest day of our lives are still helping others make their own dream wedding come true. Edil promised we would celebrate our 5th year with another wedding. Given where we are right now, that might be unlikely. But you bet this wouldnt stop me from planning our 10th, hehehe. And yes, it would still have PINK on it :). (and Mimi and Karl will still be covering it!) Side kwento: One of my officemates sent the link from our wedding pictures to her friend who was getting married. The friend's officemate squealed when she saw Edil. It turns out he was one of her crushes in Mapua High and when he went to college in Mapua. LOL. Sige na nga, gwapo na nga asawa ko :D He is looking for a job as a Mechanical Engr (but not a board passer). Any suggestions? We are currently finding a way for him to go out of the country first since I cant afford to test my waters since I still have a baby to nurse and take care of. Ang hirap na talaga ng buhay sa Pinas.

Who wants to play BINGO?

I think playing BINGO is a staple with the Pinoy culture already. I remember even when I was a kid, I knew how to play it already. Most fundraisers in school or church somehow involved some sort of bingo. So, it is no question that I got to stumble upon Party Bingo on the net. You can download the game into your computer and start playing! Simple enough! You even can play with someone from their community. If you need help with anything about the game, the also have a 24-hr help hotline. What I found impressive is that they have a very easy site map and the site looks really attractive - of course, it is in pink - my fave color :). They also have decoded some usual chat phrases that will certainly help newbies in trying to understand the lingo. They also have a cool affiliate program too (refer-a-friend). And if ever you get curious to see who you are playing against, they have a members gallery to satisfy your curiosity. Bingo is probably the easiest game I have ever gotten to play. It is a game of chance and luck, but it sure is a fun way to spend some idle time with friends who are as bored as you are! Who knows? We might be able to win some big money!

Here is my recent family picture :)

Im Back!!

Hello people! All of a sudden I decided to just resurrect my little Blogger here. Ive moved to my own home, before that, in Wordpress, but guess what? All search keywords leading to my site are about my wedding - Caleruega, pink and brown, Tagaytay, Steve Dorotan, pink, Center Table, etc etc....I guess my wedding preps have found their niche on the web, eh? Well, what have I been up to? Since my wedding 1 1/2 years ago, I've been working on my marriage with Edil. Struggling and Thriving. We are now blessed with two children! My youngest is almost 8 months and her name is Martha - people still have conflicting opinions about this, but I will now claim that she is mini-me :) Im still working at the same company, same position. Same old same old :). I hope to get promoted though, since I am now working here for four years this coming February 3rd. :) Maybe I should not play Online Casino anymore, LOL. The funny thing is, when I went to Vegas when I was 16, I was turned off with the whole idea of gambling. Totally. But when an officemate, referred me to this online site of casino games when there was a downtime at the office, I was hooked! So far, I'm only playing Super Mystic, which ‘PartyJackpot’ slot game. You win based on the combination of the various symbols displayed on the selected winning payline(s). The ‘paytable’ below shows how much you will win for each combination. For each bet placed, the house adds a percentage of the bet amount to all the four running PartyJackpot levels. Trust me to still stick to slot machines even when playing online :). Id love to try playing the Baccarat, but maybe I will stick to slot machines first :) I am sure this will be addicting! And just a reminder, there is still responsible gaming even when online :)
