Airsoft Gaming
There is a new sport in town that is taking hobbyists by storm – airsoft gaming or war games. Most of the fathers I know have been hooked with the sport even buying their own airsoft equipment like airsoft guns, airsoft rifle and airsoft electric guns!
Guns AirSoft is available at SoftAirPro (http://www.softairpro.com/). They offer wide range of airsoft gun and accessories. The different types of guns airsoft can even be asked in their forums.

Still Stuffed.
That is me three days after attending a birthday party celebration of four friends online. One of them really made sure to have the food I liked – my wedding cake (I havent tasted it for years) and fitas. I need an effective weight loss pill to be able to shed some pounds with the way I have been eating lately.

European Tour
A friend of mine and her husband will go on a European tour two weeks from now. It was originally just a business trip for my friend’s husband but they decided to make it a vacation trip as well and their second honeymoon, as they are planning for their second baby. At first, my friend was really torn between going and leaving her three-year old daughter behind. But after much convincing from us, she decided to go. It will be perfect since she would just pay for her airfare since her husband’s travel needs are paid for by his company. It is a perfect time to bond together. Besides, their daughter will be left with her mother so she should not worry.
Weeks after feeling guilty about leaving her daughter for three weeks and spending too much on a trip, she is finally excited and raring to go. She did research and asked friends who went to Europe and from there planned their itinerary so they can save from joining tours. Plus she compare bed and breakfast hotel rates before booking their stay so she knows they have saved a bit of money. There are plenty of inns to choose from at BBPlanet.com!

Cars
Who doesnt need a car these days? I know there are a lot of people switching to hybrid cars as of late because of the instability of gas prices these days. However, the need for a car (a mode of transportation) is still there. I never thought I would even talk about needing a car - but where we live at, we really need it to go around otherwise it will be doubly hard. And even if we commute, transportation prices are so high! For example, when I go to the grocery, I need 50 bucks to commute BY JEEP! (That’s how far it is, LOL). So yes, car=necessity. It is a good thing that fuel prices have had a drastic price cut for the past month. This means we can be assured that if ever we will have a car, we have money for gas to drive it around! :) Edil might get the car he has been promised for by his boos. I certainly hope so. He needs it to make calls in hospitals in his area. A Fleet program might have been the trick for the company to have been able to issue its employees the much-needed transport benefit.

Halloween Planning
Invitations Halloween Party types are what is in my head right now. I’ve been thinking of invitations Halloween needs to have because we will be throwing a party in October. As you can see party invitations Halloween traditions set the mood and invitations party Halloween help make the party a success.

Washing the Beds
We need to wash our sofa beds and beds. I think we are having bed bugs and dust mites as I notice that my daughter has suspicious looking insect bites. Our foam mattresses have been with us for years so maybe it is time for a change as well. We also need to borrow pressure washers to clean the carpets. When will the endless and continuing chores ever end?!

Loving the Outdoors
My cousin recently had the garden and lawn of their house landscaped so it looks very nice – perfect for holding picnics, parties and gatherings for the family. They are now looking for sturdy outdoor furniture that will stand the test of rain and sun. They would like a picnic set and a couple of daybeds under the tree in the middle of the lot.

Branding
My youngest sister graduated with a degree in Fine Arts Major in Marketing. So she knows how to “package” things and even people. First impressions are always lasting (and often the most important). Truth be told, we would often come to her for advice on how to dress especially if it’s an important occasion. My other sister even made her her own personal shopper - she gave her a thousand bucks to buy her clothes for an international convention in Hawaii once and she went crazy “packaging” everything up!
The say perception is reality. Especially in this modern age of technology, where everything seems to be distant with everyone looking online to find whatever they need. Branding is a job not to be taken lightly! Thus, businesses online need to present themselves in a big way. Branding Company BiG (Brand Identity Guru) Inc takes care of that. If you want to build your profile and make it shine the way you want to be perceived and seen by people, they can outline everything for you - from how to make reports, outlining brochures and ads, etc.
My sister now wants to work for an advertising agency but would explore her options as a graphic artist working from home. I believe she has a promising career ahead of her!

Getting back that 20/20 vision
There are organs in our body, which when damaged, can no longer be reversed. These changes are irreversible. Examples of which are our ears (hearing), kidney (blood detoxification and elimination) and eyes (sight). With more improvements done in the field of science, eye sight can now be restored to 20/20 or 20/40 through laser eye surgery. The Boston Laser Eye Surgery Center is one of those who can perform LASIK eye surgery. Their head doctor and founder, Dr. Melki, has in fact performed almost 6000 eye laser surgeries to date and has even authored two textbooks regarding the procedure.
How is the procedure done? It is relatively easy, fast and painless. Doctors would say the procedure usually takes only 30 minutes, with you being there for around two hours. Your eyes will be given medicine (anesthesia) to numb out the area and have your blinking reflex lessened or wiped out. You will be awake all throughout the procedure. Your eyes will be under the microscope where the doctor will map out the blueprint of your eye before doing laser surgery to the cornea to reshape it and improve your vision.
And you are done! You dont even have to take any post surgery precautions after – you can immediately see improvements!

Getting into too much debt.
I have been reading a lot lately on how to save and be frugal, most especially on how to live out of single-income families and still be able to live comfortably. I read an amazing story on one couple who wiped out their debt in a year and lived off on one of their incomes the next few years. Now they have a sizeable amount of savings and live comfortably. I realized how much I have been spending when I was still working. I was paid a good amount of money at work and I have a very good sideline running. And yet, I was still up to my ears on credit card debt!
The wisest thing I think I ever did was make sure I close all credit cards and avoid debt collection before I resigned from work. At least now even if I am no longer working, the money I receive on my sideline job (I didn’t give it up) is now going to house expenses, primarily food, and shopping! I’m not shopping that much unlike before. I need to be wise with my purchases now that I realize how much our house is full of clutter!
Save. Save. Save. That is what most people are doing these days.

Finally Moving.
A family friend has finally settled into their new home after moving a couple of weeks ago. They have officially cleared the last of the remaining boxes and have already done some interior decorating so they can now have a party. They formally sent Announcements Moving Cards to let their friends know they have officially moved and that a party will be held over the weekend. All these were last minute! It is a good thing they were able to order their invites online at Express-Invitations.com. They offer free shipping and even include 10 thank you cards for free!
Planning my Workstation
This has been going on since February. Up to now (until my laptop broke down), I have been planning my little desk in the house. Since I work at home, I need to have my little space where I can work. I am still decided to get that L-shaped desk but I’m going to have it in white (shiny) so that it will match our house. It will also motivate me to keep it clean all the time. I need more office furniture like shelves though. And maybe a file cabinet. I still am not sure.

Sunday Stealing - The Double Stealing Meme
Sunday Stealing: The Double Stealing Meme
1. If you could turn back the hands of time to correct one wrongdoing, what event would you choose and why?
Exerting more effort during my last year in high school. Physics and puppy love got to me.
2. Are you one for tradition? If so, what traditions do you strongly believe in? If not, what makes tradition hypocritical?
Yes, we are very much into traditions. I think most traditions become hypocritical because family members do not explain anymore why traditions are being done and what is its significance. We practice and observe Lenten season every year.
3. You were taking part in an event and you had to crossplay, who would you crossplay as and why?
Crossplay is what? I’d crossplay as virginal nun and a slut – that would be cool.
4. If you only had one day left to live, how would you spend your last day? Would you be tempted to live fatally if you knew you were to die the next day, and if so, what extreme measures would you take?
I’d try to say sorry and ask forgiveness to everybody I’ve done wrong to.
5. What are your top five sinful materialistic items, ones you'd expect from others including those closest to you? Why are each in the position they are in?
TOP FIVE: gadgets (cameras and computer), watches, bags, shoes, good food :D That is why I will never lose belly fat!
6. I am... scared of something.
7. I feel... dazed.
8. I see... grey skies into the weekend!
9. I need... to take a break
10. I love... chocolate
11. I wish... we are in a better position financially before the year ends
12. I think... too much
13. I hear... strong winds outside
14. I crave... for COKE!
15. I fear... dying unprepared
16. I hope… I will be able to finish my work before the internet gets cut. I hope it stays on even with the winds!

For Better or For Worse
My post below made me think about all the weddings I have attended to and the marriages all of them had after. Fortunately, 100% of them are still together. They went through some tough times but held on to each other and became closer and stronger.
Wedding Anniversary Invitations for the 10, 25th and 50th year are something we always want to receive. It is a glowing testament that true love does exist and that marriage a sacrament worth celebrating over and over again. It is actually a reason to celebrate more than getting married in the first place.
For wedding anniversary invites, consider getting it done at Express Invitations. It can all be done online and their proof is exactly what you will see when you have it in your hands. They offer free shipping too!

Moving Houses
Instead of doing an e-mail and text brigade, she opted to go the old-fashioned route and announce their move and give their new address through Announcements Moving Cards. It ended up to be such a great idea because people not only congratulated them but gave them house-warming gifts! It was a last minute decision of theirs. It’s a good thing my cousin had their announcement done through Announcements-Shoppe.com. They were very fast and efficient because they had the proof ready within an house and after approval, they were shipped FREE that same day.

A Christian Milestone
A family friend recently asked me for help, knowing that I scrapbook, making an simple personalized card for her daughter, who is on third grade and will be receiving her First Communion. They are a religious family who are very active in Church so they treat this event like a birthday or a celebration party.
They are helping the school with the event and they were tasked to oversee the making the invites. She only had praises with the company they went with, Announcements-Shoppe.com. For starters, they were very fast and efficient. They sent the wordings on Monday and got the proof e-mailed within an hour! She was able to view the First Communion Invitations online before ordering and they even got free shipping for the said invites! Now, the Church will be doing their business with them for christening invitations too. They will also refer invitations baptism to them if the parents will ask for referrals. Religious invitations at their shop are very unique – they have exclusive designs not available anywhere else.
I actually got a copy of the invite and was surprised how nice it looked!

When I’m Stressed…
I get fatter. I really do not know what to make of this until I read an article that when a person is stressed, his body releases a hormone called cortisol that binds to fat cells making it harder to dissolve. That maybe the reason that even if I do a million things and survive on little sleep most of the time, I don’t lose weight. Maybe I need a diet pill that works – any suggestions? I am scare of the many reported side effects but if I can read reviews and feedbacks from real people, that will be great.
