Home Plans

We are at this stage when we are now thinking ahead and planning long-term goals. We are not getting any younger and by this time, we should have made solid and fruitful investments to secure our future. We are working slowly towards that goal. Our goal in the next three years is to make sure we get a house of our own. We have been poring over home plans over the web and have been discussing which architectural features we would like it to have. There are great and nice house plans at HousePlansandMore.com. For now, we are drawn to contemporary house plans as we love houses that have open spaces which can continually evolve as our family grows. We have agreed to make sure that we build a house that is not prone to clutter so this is perfect for us!

Vacation Plans.

While most mommy friends are planning and booking flights to Disneyland Hongkong for next year, my single friends are planning Caribbean vacations – nothing beats the beach, they say. Sand, sun and surf. And what better place to spend it than the Caribbean? Busy Weekend.

It is a busy weekend for me, work wise. I also have a lot of things to do (read: clean a lot) in real life and the added stress of preparing for the holidays is a bit overwhelming. So before I get overwhelmed more, I took a step forward and had additional fixtures built for the house. We don’t need rv towing for it because it will be delivered for free. I am quite excited to see it made actually. I am still deciding the work of the study table-shelf I promised my son too. My next project would be a kitchen shelf, a dresser and an altar table!

With all the devastating effects of climate change felt more than ever, more people are taking an active role in saving what is left in the environment. Most houses now are encouraged to have rain barrels at home so that they can collect rain water. This in turn can be used to water plants, wash the car and clean stuff outside without having to use water coming from the faucet. Big things start from small things.

Surprisingly, I have gifts for the men in our family and still have none for the women. Isnt it that gifts for her are more available and easier to shop for? I got a very great deal from a friend who offered to sell wallets and that is what I am giving the elderly men in our family. I still need to make sure that we have gifts for the women – especially my mom and mother-in-law!

Upgrade

Our humble vehicle needs a lot of repairs and it really is pushing me to just let it go and sell it and buy a new one. We would need the money we will get if we sell it so we can add it to our car fund and therein lies our problem. I don’t know if my father-in-law will just let us sell it. He love the vehicle dearly as he had it made from scratch and picked the auto accessories himself.
